In 2006, the AGYC Board of Directors took initial steps to replace the outdated clubhouse with a first-class facility. The membership approved a budget for a new facility that included a pro shop. Alderbrook Properties served as the general contractor for the project, doing the construction at cost and donating $100,000 back to AGYC upon project completion. The new clubhouse held its Grand Opening on May 16, 2009, and hosted the 42nd annual HOA meeting on September 20, 2009.
For more than ten years, local citizens and members of the NCCU worked towards their dream of funding and building a new church. In 2015, Alderbrook Properties (DBA Reliant Builders) began the preliminary site work for the NCCU project. In 2015, the stormwater plan, fire code plan, and permitting process were underway. By October 2016, all the preparatory site work and utility work was in progress. Framing of the structure started in March 2017, and the facilities were completed by February 2018 on time, within budget, and with virtually no markup.
